Pump Weights
Maximum Direct Mount Pump Limits
590 Series Power Take-Off (PTO)
At the rear of the PTO pump mounting flange a support bracket is furnished
with the 590 Series to reduce the bending stress on the PTO / Transmission
attaching points.
Maximum allowable bending moment without the PTO / Pump bracket is 80 Nm
[60 lbs-ft] combined.
The Pump Weight vs Pump Center of Gravity (COG) chart will aid you in
determining if your pump application exceeds the recommended pump weight /
COG limits using the supplied bracket.
The chart range for pump weights is 30 to 80 pounds and the pump COG range
is from 3 to 12 inches. To use the chart find your pump weight along the vertical
axis and your pump COG along the horizontal axis. As long as you stay within
the gray shaded area your pump weight / COG is within the proper limits. If you
exceed the shaded area or are outside the limits of the chart, contact Chelsea
