T2 Replacing the power switch
Check
1. Mark the connecting power lead wires (as these need to be reinserted) and then
remove once they are marked.
2. Connect a multi-meter as shown in diagram 3
3. Turn on the power and check that the switch is functional
4. Switch on the multi-meter and check it shows
Ω =0 position. Turn the power OFF
and check it shows Ω = ∞ (infinity)
5. If the multi meter doesn’t show above then replace with a new power switch
Procedure
1. Remove the side panel assembly
2. Remove the power switch wiring terminals
3. Remove the power switch by squeezing and pressing forward.
4. Replace with the new power switch
5. Check that the new power switch is snapped into the socket securely making
sure of the correct orientation. Refer to diagram 2
6. Install the power wiring back to the terminal. Refer to diagram 1
7. Insert the side panel assembly back to its original position.
When fitted test the power switch to ensure it is working correctly
