PROCEDURE
• Place all the parts in the disinfection solution.
• Allow the solution to take effect as indicated in the instruc­
tions for use of the disinfectant.
• Thoroughly rinse the parts under hygienically tested water
and leave them to dry completely on a clean, dry and ab­
sorbent surface.
VALIDATION
The method has been validated using an aldehyde­containing
disinfectant:
– Korsolex
®
Basic 4% (Bode)
– Treatment time: 15 minutes
5.5 Sterilisation
NOTICE
A validated sterilisation process can only be carried out on
products that have been cleaned and disinfected.
Information on sterilising the
child/adult mask soft:
Always use the mask stabiliser
when sterilising these masks, be­
cause otherwise they may lose
their shape under the effects of
high temperatures. For this pur­
pose, follow the instructions for
use of the mask stabiliser as well.
EQUIPMENT
Steam steriliser – preferably with fractionated pre­vacuum – in
accordance with DIN EN 285 or DIN EN 13060 (type B)
