2.5 Operating life

Replace the nebuliser after a year at the latest as changes can
occur in the material of the nebuliser over time. This might im
pair the effectiveness of the treatment.

INHALATION

CAUTION

Risk of crosscontamination in the case of a change in pa
tients

(in the professional environment): If the nebuliser is

used for more than one patient, there is a risk that the germs
can be transmitted from one patient to the next via the
nebuliser and its accessories. To prevent this, the nebuliser
and accessories must be cleaned, disinfected and sterilised,
and the connection tubing must be cleaned and disinfected
mechanically or replaced before every change of patient [see
also: 5.1 General].

3.1 Assembling the nebuliser

CAUTION

Check all nebuliser components and the accessories before
each use. Replace any broken, misshapen or seriously discol
oured parts. Please also follow the instructions for assembly
given below. Damaged components and/or an incorrectly as
sembled nebuliser may impair

functioning of the nebuliser

and thus

treatment as well
