7.1 Nozzle blocked
Should the nozzle be blocked, you can clear it yourself as follows.

• Unscrew the nebuliser upper section (4) from the nebuliser lower
section (8).
• Push the medication cup (5) up as far as the windows and then pull it out
of the nebuliser lower section.
• Press the nozzle (9) together with the airflow control (10) down and out of
the medication cup.
• Pull the airflow control up and off from the nozzle.
• Take the nozzle cleaner (7) out of the nebuliser lower section.
• Carefully poke through the three nozzle bore holes "A" to "C" (only from
below).
• Re-assemble the nebuliser (see Chapter 4.1).
7.2 Material resistance
Do not expose the nebuliser to temperatures above 137°C. In general, like all
plastic parts, nebulisers are susceptible to wear. Nebulisers can be sterilised
up to 300 times, but then they must be replaced. Even if the nebuliser has
been sterilised fewer than 300 times, it must still be replaced at least every 2
years. PARI GmbH recommends that certain components of the nebuliser
(nozzle, connection tubing etc.) be replaced every year. Note the following
when selecting cleaners/disinfectants:
- In general, the aldehydic group of cleaners/disinfectants is suitable for
cleaning and/or disinfecting the PARI LL nebuliser.
- The use of other cleaner or disinfectant groups has not been tested with
regard to the material resistance of this nebuliser.
- Only use an original PARI nozzle cleaner!
- Use the nozzle cleaner very carefully, because the small nozzle
bore holes can easily be damaged irreparably.
- If the nozzle becomes blocked repeatedly, replace it (part no.
019B2110).
