4 CLEANING AND DISINFECTION

This chapter describes how to clean and disinfect the nebuliser
when it is used in the home. A separate set of instructions for
hygienic re-use in the professional environment is included with
the nebuliser.

4.1 Preparation

Dismantle the nebuliser into its individual parts:

The nebuliser and the accessories used must be cleaned
after each application and disinfected at least once a day.



The connection tubing cannot be cleaned or disinfected.

• Pull the connection tubing

together with the LL adapter off
the nebuliser.

• Disconnect the LL adapter from

the connection tubing.

• Pull the mouthpiece or mask off

the nebuliser.
