Commissioning:
1. Open the battery compartment and insert one alkaline battery of Mignon/AA/1.5 V type. Make
sure the polarity is correct.
2. The hands now move to the radio signal reception position. The alarm will then start searching
for the radio signal.
3. After about 3-12 minutes (depending on how fast the radio signal is received), the hands will
adjust to the correct time.
Manual time setting:
If the clock does not receive a radio signal, press and hold M.SET for 3 seconds to move to manual
time setting. Now you can set the correct time using this button. However, if you are within the range
of the radio signal, the clock will automatically try again to get the radio signal to display the correct
time.
Start manual reception:
When the clock is on, press the REC button for 3 seconds. The hands move to the 12:00 position.
Now the clock starts to search for the DCF signal. If no signal is received, the clock will display the
previously stored time.
Set the alarm:
Turn the alarm knob on the back of the clock in the direction of the arrow until the alarm hand is in the
desired position. Never turn the alarm knob in the opposite direction as this may damage the
movement.
Repeat Alarm & Light:
1. Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button on the top of the clock to activate the backlight and
temporarily stop the alarm. The light turns on for 3 seconds.
2. After about 5 minutes, the alarm will sound again.
3. The SNOOZE function can be repeated several times.
Switch alarm on/off:
1. Put the Alarm ON/OFF switch to the ON position to turn the alarm on.
2. Put the Alarm ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to turn the alarm off.

If the alarm has not been interrupted or turned off, it will automatically stop after about 2 minutes. After
12 hours the alarm is reactivated at the same time.
