Commissioning
Open the battery compartment and insert two new alkaline batteries (type AAA). Radio reception will start immediately. After 5
to 7 minutes, the clock receives the signal and adjusts itself correctly. If the signal is too weak and the clock is unable to receive
correct time information, reception will be canceled. Another transmission attempt will then be initiated automatically every
two hours. If the clock still does not receive a sufficient signal, try to find a better location (near a window or turn the clock in 45
degree increments) and remove the batteries, wait one minute, and reinsert the batteries. Radio reception will resume.
Improvement of radio reception
Place the clock in a location where it will not be exposed to any electrical interference or shielding. Avoid placing the clock near
a television or computer. Reception is best at night, when many sources of interference are inactive.
