Front Panel LEDs

Panel LEDs.

LED Color State Meaning
PWR Green On
Off
Unit is powered on.
Unit is powered off, or power supply has failed.
ALRM Red On
Off
Unit has exceeded a safe temperature, voltages
are out of specification, fan speed is below
threshold, modem failure, or loss of signal.
No alarms/errors.
LINK/ACTIVITY
(under each
modem port) Green On Flashes in response to polling packets used
during recurrent training.
Steady when unit has trained and ports are
receiving valid Ethernet timing from the
connected source.
Red On Unit has failed self-test, will not attempt to train
up. Notify your service representative.
Amber TX/RX Flashes to indicate data is being
transmitted/received and unit is in sync with
data bursts.
GigE1
(RJ45) Green On
Off
GigE1 interface is active and a valid Ethernet
link is established.
Link is not active.
Yellow TX/RX
Off
Indicates data traffic is flowing.
No data detected.
GigE2
(RJ45) Green On
Off
GigE2 interface is active and a valid Ethernet
link is established
Link is not active.
Yellow TX/RX
Off
Indicates data traffic is flowing.
No data detected.
MGMT Green On
Off
Out-of-Band management connection is active
and web interface is accessible.
Link is not active.
Yellow TX/RX
Off
Indicates Out-of-Band traffic is flowing.
No Out-of-Band traffic is flowing.
