
Trouble Shooting
The following table details the most common problems and how to fix them. If you still have a problem after going through the
troubleshooting guide please call your Paradigm distributor for advice.

motor is working
outside it’s
limit.

the incline value
within a certain

1. Data jack has a poor
connection
2. Incline motor has
been damaged.
3. Data cable has been

4. Controller board

1. Re-insert the wiring jack
and ensure that a firm
connection is made
2. Reset the height of the
incline nut and restart the
machine
3. Replace the incline motor
4. Replace the controller
board.

1. Wiring jack has a
poor connection.
2. There is too great a
distance between the
speed sensor and the
magnet on the front
roller pulley.
3. Sensor is faulty
and/or wiring has
been damaged.
1. Re-insert the wiring
jack and ensure that a
firm connection is made.
2. Adjust the speed
sensor so that it sits
3mm (+/- 1mm) from the
magnet.
3. Replace the sensor.

1. Stand on side rails to obtain accurate pulse
2. Dry palms
3. Grip using moderate pressure
4. Remove all rings
