Security Warnings

2.1

Installation Instructions

It is assumed that the reader is aware of the common rules and provisions
regarding electrical installations and connection to the public power grid. Es-
pecially the common safety regulations for working on electric installations
must be observed closely.

Installation must only be performed by qualified
persons with specific electro technical knowledge
and skills!

The following specialist knowledge is recommended for installation:

Observe the 5 common safety rules: disconnect; secure against un-

intentional reconnection; check the absence of voltage; ground and
short-circuit the device; provide covers or barriers to isolate neighbor-
ing parts bearing voltage;

•

Select adequate tools, measuring instruments and if required per-

sonal protective equipment;

•

Select electrical fittings to ensure the turn-off conditions;

•

IP protection classes
