3.   GUN-GRIP OPTION 

 

In addition to the ergonomic and compact design of the SCANNDYbasic unit PANMOBIL provides 
a robust gun-grip option. To connect the basic unit to the gun-grip, simply remove the basic 
battery cover, take out the basic battery and plug the gun-grip to the basic unit. 
There are no other changes to be done on the basic unit.

Trigger key 

Press this key to start the laser-engine for read barcodes

Lock button 

Turn the lock button to horizontal position to lock the contact 
bottom. 
Turn the lock button to vertical position to unlock the contact 
bottom.

Release button 

Press this button and pull the contact bottom (4) after unlocked 
the lock button (2) to access the gun battery

Contact bottom 

The contact bottom can be of two different kinds. 
One version to connect cables like RS232, Keyboard-Wedge or 
USB. 
For cable connected use. 
The other version has contact pins for battery charging and 
RS232 communication with the cradle when the device is used 
wireless (Bluetooth or WiFi 802.11b). 
Remove the contact bottom to access the gun battery.
