Now input the new password by using the SCANNDY key pad. If you want to leave the  
password empty like in factory default, just press the OK key. Else input the password you want 
and press the OK key to accept the new password. 
 
Here after you will be prompted to reconfirm the new password to make sure that there are no 
other characters set as password as you really want.  
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
Please input again the new password to confirm. 
You can cancel this operation by pressing the “C” key at any time. 
 
If everything went right on the password confirmation, you will get the message that the

Otherwise you will get the message that there is an error in the confirmation. 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
In this case you need to repeat the password setting from the beginning. 

 

CAUTION!

 

Once you set up a system menu password you need this password any time you want to access 
the system menu.  

To be able to look up the password please make a note and retain it at a safe place!
