Blade wear
As the blades wear, the gap may be closed by adjusting the cylinder rod nuts at the rear of the shear. A 1/32” gap
is recommended.
5.2.
Cold weather operation
Hydraulic system performance is affected when the temperature drops below 50°F. Therefore, measures should be
taken to pre-warm tools and fluids before operating.
