N.B.
1) Turn off the switch of the switch box while connecting cable. Provide a switch box for every welder
and use a specified fuse.
2) Power supply cable should be 14 mm
2
or more in sectional area if its length is more than 10 m.
3) If an engine generator is used, it should be provided with an inverter of capacity from three to five
times of that of the welder or with compensating winding for thyristor equipment.
4) When using single phase, connect to “U” and “V” terminals. And keep the output current below
180A.
6.2 Grounding

. Protection against electric shock caused by degraded insulation of welder Ground the case to prevent
electric shocks and malfunctioning of equipment caused by high frequency waves generated from inert
welder controller.

Daily checking of grounding conductor perform daily check of grounding conductor. Confirm whether it is
disconnected or broken. If it is disconnected, or broken, reconnect it. The switch of the switch box must be
turned off before reconnecting.
