Changing Telephony Setting
You can change your extension’s telephony settings in the
Telephony
tab of the
My Portal
screen.

In the
Telephony
tab, the following items are editable. Edit it as needed.

FWD/DND Settings - for
internal calls
To specify the forward type, select the desired type from the
Status
,
FWD Type
, and
DND Type
drop-down lists, then enter the extension
number or select
to specify the forward destination.
Note
Calls can be forwarded only to valid extension numbers. If you
select
Phone (Home)
, make sure that an extension number is
specified for that setting.
FWD No Answer Time (s)
Specifies the length of time that the Unified Messaging system waits
before handling unanswered calls to the extension. Select the desired
time from the
FWD No Answer Time (s)
drop-down list.

This phone number is set in the
Home
tab of the
My Portal
screen.
Logout
To log out of My Portal, click the
(logout)
button to end the programming session and return to the Login
screen. When this option is chosen, changes are automatically saved.

button.
A confirmation message will be displayed.

If the computer running the Web browser that is connected to My Portal is shut down, or the
Web browser is closed, any changes that have not been saved will be lost. Always end your
programming session by clicking the
(logout)
button. For more information, consult your
System Administrator.
