• Confirm audio output using the test signal after speakers are set.
• Adjust the output of the center and surround speakers, etc. to
balance front speaker sounds with those from each of the other
speakers in the seating area.
• You can adjust the speaker output according to your preference during playback.
Press [SPEAKERS A] on the unit to switch “
” on.
(Press [SPEAKERS A] or [SPEAKERS B] to switch “

on when bi-wire speakers are connected.)
1 Press
• A test signal is output from one speaker at a
time for two seconds in the following order.

SBR
” and “
SBL
” are displayed when the surround back speakers
are connected. (“

” is displayed in case of one speaker.)
2 Press
to adjust the volumes of front
speakers to the normal listening level.
To finish after confirming the speaker output
Press [TEST, –AUTO] to stop the test signal.
To adjust speaker volumes
Go to step 3.

Repeat steps 3 and 4 to adjust the
level of each speaker.

again in the above order 2 seconds after both steps.

to stop the test signal.
• You cannot adjust the level of front speakers themselves.
• Speakers not connected (

pages 13 and 23) or set as unconnected in “Setting
speakers and their sizes” (

page 39) do not output test signals.
• Check connections and perform the auto speaker setup once again when
a connected speaker does not output the test signal (
á
pages 26 and 27).
• If you select “SPEAKERS B” only, the test signal will not be output.
