[DISPLAY OPTION] menu
On the menu screen, select [DISPLAY OPTION] from the main menu, and select an item from the submenu.
Refer to “Navigating through the menu” (

page 61) for the operation of the menu screen.
[COLOR ADJUSTMENT]
Correct the color difference between projectors when multiple projectors are used simultaneously.
1) Press

to select [COLOR ADJUSTMENT].
2) Press

to switch the item.

The items will switch each time you press the button.
[OFF] Color adjustment is not carried out.
[3COLORS]
Adjusts the three colors [RED], [GREEN], or [BLUE] and the white [GAIN]. For details of this mode,
refer to “Adjusting [3COLORS]” (

page 78).
[6COLORS]
Adjusts [WHITE LEVEL] and the six colors [RED], [GREEN], [BLUE], [CYAN], [MAGENTA] or
[YELLOW]. For details, refer to “Adjusting [6COLORS]” (
Æ
page 78).
Adjusting [3COLORS]
1) Press
as
to select [COLOR ADJUSTMENT].
2) Press
qw
to select [3COLORS].
3) Press the <ENTER> button.

The [3COLORS] screen is displayed.
4) Press

to select [RED], [GREEN], [BLUE] or [WHITE].
5) Press the <ENTER> button.

The [3COLORS:RED] , [3COLORS:GREEN] , [3COLORS:BLUE] or [3COLORS:WHITE] screen is
displayed.

By setting [AUTO TESTPATTERN] to [ON], the test pattern for the selected color is displayed.
6) Press

to select [RED], [GREEN] or [BLUE].

[GAIN] can be adjusted when [WHITE] is selected in Step 4) .

to adjust.

The adjustment value changes between 0

Operation when correcting the adjustment color
When correction color red is changed: Red is added to or subtracted from the adjustment color.
When correction color green is changed: Green is added to or subtracted from the adjustment color.
When correction color blue is changed: Blue is added to or subtracted from the adjustment color.

This adjustment should be carried out by a person who is familiar with the projector or by a service person because a high level of skill is
required to make a successful adjustment.

Pressing the <DEFAULT> button on the remote control will restore the factory default settings for all items.

When [COLOR ADJUSTMENT] is set to [3COLORS], [COLOR CORRECTION] is fixed to [OFF] and the [PICTURE] menu → [COLOR
TEMPERATURE] is fixed to [DEFAULT].
Adjusting [6COLORS]
