Maintenance — Light source/temperature/filter indicators

Solution

Wait at least five minutes

in the current status.

Install the projector in a

location with the operating

environment temperature

between 0 °C (32 °F) and

50 °C (122 °F)

Remove any objects that are blocking the air intake/

exhaust port.

Install the projector in a location with the operating

environment temperature between 0 °C (32 °F) and

50 °C (122 °F)

, and ambient humidity between 10 %

and 80 % (no condensation).

Clean or replace the air filter unit. (

page 184)

Turn the <MAIN POWER>

switch to <OFF>

page 63), and

consult your dealer.

The operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C (113 °F) if the projector is used at an altitude between 1 400 m

(4 593') and 4 200 m (13 780') above sea level. When [OPERATING MODE] in the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

[OPERATION SETTING] is

set to [ECO], [LONG LIFE1], [LONG LIFE2], or [LONG LIFE3], the operating environment temperature should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 45 °C

(113 °F), and when the Smoke Cut Filter is used, it should be between 0 °C (32 °F) and 40 °C (104 °F) regardless of the altitude.

When [OPERATING MODE] in the [PROJECTOR SETUP] menu

Note

If the temperature indicator <TEMP> is still lit or blinking after taking the measures, ask your dealer for repair.
