Adding New Sound on a Recorded
Cassette
(Audio Dubbing)
You can record a new music or narration onto a previously
recorded tape, replacing a section of the original audio.
Perform steps 1–4 on page 106 before performing the
following steps.

Play back a still picture at the point at which you
want the audio dubbing to start.

Set [AUDIO DUBBING] on the [OTHER
FUNCTIONS] Sub-Menu to [ON].

The [A.DUB] Indication

Press the Playback Button [

] to start audio
dubbing.

The Audio Dubbing automatically stops approximately
at the position at which you reset the counter to zero.
Stopping Audio Dubbing
Press the [

The Movie Camera is again in the Still Playback Mode.
Cancelling the Audio Dubbing Function
Press the [

] Button.

It is not possible to set [AUDIO DUBBING] on the [OTHER
FUNCTIONS] Sub-Menu to [ON] when it is not in the Still
Playback Mode.

It is not possible to perform Audio Dubbing on an
unrecorded part of the tape. If you try to do so, the tape will
stop.

When using the Audio Dubbing Function, the picture quality
is somewhat reduced. However, it doesn't affect the
recorded picture.
