made by the String itself and pull it toward the
direction indicated by an arrow.

The removed Lens Cap can be hooked onto the Grip Belt.
(When you are not recording, be sure to keep the Lens Cap
attached to the Lens for protection.)

Adjust the Grip Belt
Adjust the length of the Grip Belt to the size of your hand.

Detach the tip of the Grip Belt.

Slide the pad to obtain the optimum length.

Reattach the Grip Belt.

To Use as the Free Style Grip Belt
Using the Grip Belt as the Free Style Grip Belt makes it
easier to handle and carry the Movie Camera. It is more
convenient to use with the Free Style Remote Controller.

Detach the Grip Belt from the Lens Cap String Holder
and adjust the length of it.

Attach the Grip Belt around your wrist.
Attaching the Shoulder Strap
We recommend that you attach the Shoulder Strap before
going out of doors to record so as to avoid dropping the
Movie Camera.

Pull the end of the Shoulder Strap through the
Shoulder Strap Holder on the Movie Camera.

Fold the tip of the Shoulder Strap, run it through the
Shoulder Strap Length Adjuster, and pull it.

Inserting a Cassette

Slide the [OPEN/EJECT] Lever
toward the front
and pull down to open the Cassette Compartment
Cover.

Insert a Cassette.

Close the Cassette Holder by pressing the
[PUSH CLOSE] Button

Close the Cassette Compartment Cover.
