HOW TO USE THE VEGETABLE COMPARTMENT
• For storing vegetables and fruits.
The high compartment temperature can store vegetables and fruits without plastic wrapping.
Some types and conditions of food still require wrapping for storage.
The compartment temperature is approx. 2.5~7.5 °C, according to the temperature setting and
ambient temperature.
VEGETABLE COMPARTMENT
These vegetables should be wrapped
• Green onions and chives to prevent odor transfer.
• The compartment tends to be dry when small quantity of
vegetables and fruits are stored.
• Exposed cut sections of vegetables and fruits spoil without
wrapping.
Foods not suited for excessive cooling
• Uncut bananas, melons, papayas, pineapples and
avocados do not ripen well in cool temperatures, they
deteriorate instead. They should be cooled just before
eating.
Foods not requiring cool storage
• Uncut pumpkins, burdocks, onions, potatoes, sweet
potatoes, chives, ginger root, etc.
Note:
• Storing a large amount of produce in the vegetable compartment or
opening the door frequently may result in condensation or frost inside
the vegetable compartment.
• High humidity in the vegetable compartment sometimes generates
water drops depending on the type and quantity of stored food items.
Just wipe off the water drops.
• Storing fruits and vegetables in sealed containers and plastic bags
may distort nanoe™ results, please use with care.
• For easy-to-be-damaged tomatoes and fruits, low-
temperature sensitive eggplants and cucumbers.

sized vegetables.
• Preventing children from entering to
cause danger.
