6. Remove lead wires from fan motor terminals.
3.2.2. Installation
1. Install fan motor into motor shield.
2. Place
motor wires in retention slot (see WIRE
MANAGEMENT and WIRING DIAGRAM illustrations).
3. Install filter supporter and two (2) screws.
4. Route wires according to WIRE MANAGEMENT and
WIRING DIAGRAM illustrations.
5. Place motor assembly into lower place and replace two (2)
screws.
6. Route wires in lower plate (see WIRE MANAGEMENT
illustration).
7. Reinstall body plate and secure with five (5) screws.
8. Reinstall nozzle cover. Make sure that the latches are
locked into the slots.
9. Replace body, insert pin and reinstall one (1) screw.
10. Attach nozzle hose inside the body.
11. Attach lower nozzle hose to hose holder and reinstall hose
cover.
NOTE: For general servicing, it is necessary to eliminate
pinching of any wire during reassembly. After servicing
any electrical component or electrical enclosure, the unit
should be reassembled and checked for dielectric
breakdown or current leakage.
3.3. ON/OFF SWITCH
3.3.1. Removal
1. Remove body, nozzle cover and body plate (See CORD
REEL - Removal, steps 1-7).
2. Remove motor assembly (See FAN MOTOR - Removal,
steps 1-4).
3. Remove motor shield (See FAN MOTOR - Removal).
4. Remove switch from filter supporter.
5. Disconnect lead wires from switch and remove defective
switch.
3.3.2. Installation
1. Reconnect lead wires to switch.
2. Reinstall switch into filter supporter.
3. Reinstall motor shield (See FAN MOTOR - Installation).
