12. Pull power cord plug through the body plate.
13. Lay body plate aside.
14. Remove one (1) screw and cord reel from the lower plate.
15. Disconnect lead wires.
16. Discard cord reel.
WARNING: DO NOT REMOVE THE METAL COVER
SCREWS. REMOVAL OF THE COVER WILL ALLOW
THE SPRING INSIDE TO UNWIND AND CAUSE
PERSONAL INJURY
NOTE: For general servicing, it is necessary to eliminate
pinching of any wire during reassembly. After servicing
any electrical component or electrical enclosure, the
vacuum cleaner should be reassembled and checked for
dielectric breakdown or current leakage.
3.1.2. Installation
1. Connect lead wires to the appropriate terminals on the cord
reel (see WIRING DIAGRAM).
2. Insert cord reel into lower plate and reinstall one (1) screw.
3. Route the plug through the body plate.
4. Reinstall cord guide (replace if broken during disassembly).
5. Reinstall body plate and secure with five (5) screws.
6. Reinstall nozzle cover. Make sure that the latches are
locked into the slots.
7. Replace body, insert pin and reinstall one (1) screw.
8. Attach nozzle hose inside the body.
9. Attach lower nozzle hose to hose holder and reinstall hose
cover.
3.2. FAN MOTOR
3.2.1. Removal
1. Remove body, nozzle cover and body plate (See CORD
REEL - Removal).
2. Remove two (2) screws.
3. Lift out motor assembly.
4. Remove two (2) screws from motor enclosure.
5. Remove motor shield and lift out fan motor.
