Fan Motor
2.2.1.
Removal
1. Remove dust cup, handle cover, handle, cover, upper
body. (see CORD
REEL)
2. Remove connector pipe.
3. Loosen motor support cover tabs and lift off motor support
cover and lift out motor assembly.
4. Remove lead wires and motor supports from fan motor.
Save these for use with new canister motor.
5. Discard old canister motor.
2.2.2.
Reinstallation
1. Place motor supports on new canister motor and connect
lead wires.
2. Place motor assembly into motor case and route all wires
according to wire management drawing.
3. Reinstall motor support cover.
4. Reinstall connector pipe.
5. Reinstall upper body, handle, handle cover, &
dust cup.

2.3.
Triac PCB
2.3.1.
Removal
1. Remove dust cup, handle cover, handle, cover, upper
body (see CORD REEL), Remove motor assembly (see
CANISTER MOTOR).
2. Lift cord reel out of lower body and remove triac PCB
from cord reel bracket.
3. Disconnect yellow wire from PCB terminal, black wire
from motor terminal, and cut blue/red wire and black wire
just below crimp connector.
4. Discard PCB.
2.3.2.
Reinstallation
1. Strip lead wires which were cut during removal
approximately 1/4”.
2. Connect blue/red wire from new PCB with wire nut.
3. Connect yellow wire to PCB terminal and black wire to
motor terminal.
4. Reinstall motor (See CANISTER MOTOR).
5. Reinstall upper body, handle, handle cover, &
dust cup.
