5. Lift the motor section from the lower body U. 6. Remove the components fitted to the motor.
a. Remove the motor support rubber (rear).
b. Remove the motor support rubber (front).
c. Remove the motor case plate.
d. Remove the thermal protector.
e. Remove the motor support front.
f. Remove the lead wires connected to the motor.
g. Remove the noise suppressor.
* Caution:
Pull out the fastening terminal of the lead wire con-
nected to the motor unit and thermal protector with-
out twisting it.
* Note: When the thermal protector has been replaced,
make sure to paste the tape (gasket V) back on the termi-
nals.
