Recording
Note
• The settings of the aperture value, shutter speed and exposure compensation can be changed
during motion picture recording. In this case, care must be taken because the sounds of such
operations may be recorded.
• Manually setting a higher shutter speed may increase the noise on-screen due to the higher sensitivity.
• When recording under lighting such as fluorescent lighting, LED lighting, mercury lighting and
sodium lighting, the colouring and brightness of the screen may change.
• Refer to “Recording Motion Pictures” on
for other settings and operations for recording motion pictures.
Using the [
]([High Speed Video]) mode, you can record very fast motions that cannot be
tracked by the naked eye at the rate of up to 200 frames/second.
• Motion pictures are recorded in [MP4].

• It cannot be recorded into the built-in memory.
• Audio is not recorded.
• Motion picture can be recorded continuously for up to 4 GB.
• The camera can record motion pictures for up to 29 minutes 59 seconds in playback time equivalent.
• The focus, zoom, exposure and White Balance is fixed to the value at the beginning of the recording
motion picture.
• Under fluorescent lighting, flicker or horizontal bars may be seen.
