88 Programming Guide
Name Entry
Specifies the parameters relating to the Dial by Name feature, which allows to connect themselves
with the desired party by entering the first 3 or 4 letters of the party's name.
Number of Digits to Entry Name
Specifies the number of digits (letters) that must be entered when using the Dial by Name feature.

3–4 digits

Name Entry Time Out
Specifies the length of time that the VPS must wait before the name is entered. If the time period
expires without a first digit being entered, or when less than 3 digits are entered, the previous menu
will be heard, and when over 3 digits are entered, the entered name will be searched.

Key Mode
Specifies the standard used for keypad text entry. If set to use the North American standard, press
[7] for "Q" and [9] for "Z", If set to use the Austral/Asian standard, press [1] for "Q" and "Z".
