Cordless Handset

2.5 Battery installation /
replacement

2.5.1 Installing the batteries

Insert the batteries negative (

−

) terminal first.

Close the battery cover.

2.5.2 Replacing the batteries

flashes even when the batteries have

been fully charged, both batteries must be
replaced.

Please use only Panasonic

batteries.

See page 9 for accessory information.

Important:

Charge the new batteries for about 7
hours before initial use.

When replacing the batteries, ensure that
the correct battery type is selected (page
75) even if you install the same type of
batteries.

Use only rechargeable batteries. If you
install non-rechargeable batteries and
start charging, the batteries may leak
electrolyte.

Do not mix old and new batteries.

Press the notch on the cover firmly and slide
it in the direction of the arrow.

Remove the batteries positive (

) terminal

first. Replace both batteries. See the battery
installation procedure.
