User Manual Grid-EYE Evaluation Kit
1) Independent mode
The onboard microcontroller ATSAMD21G18 receives the infrared image data sampled by
Grid-EYE sensor through the I
2
C interface, and then sends this data to a PC and
smartphone via USB and Bluetooth, respectively.
2) Arduino mode
Arduino mother board receives the data sampled by Grid-EYE sensor through the I
2
C
interface and then sends the data to a PC and smartphone via USB and Bluetooth,
respectively. In this mode the microcontroller, ATSAMD21G18, acts as USB CDC device
and provides a communication channel between Arduino mother board and PC.
In both of the two modes, the Bluetooth module provides a communication channel between
the microcontroller or the Arduino mother board, and smartphone.
