Filter replacement period
Removing/installing the filters
Replace both the composite air filter and deodorizing filter
approximately in every 2 years.
Replace when the deodorizing function becomes less effective .

The replacement period for filters may be shorter than normal,
depending on the location and method of use
(for instance, in household where smoking is common).
Purchase a replacement filter ( page 14)
and install it as indicated in
“Removing/installing the filters.” (
See below.)
Use newspaper or complementary to
prevent the surrounding area from scattering of
filtered substances during replacement.
Put down the date of replacement on the
accessory filter label
(sold separately; see the figure to the right),
and affix it over original label.

Composite air filter
You cannot wash and reuse used filters.
Dispose of used filters as non-combustible refuse.
Remove the air intake grille.

Deodorizing filter
The deodorizing filter is located
below the composite air filter.
Install the deodorizing filter with
the “
UPPER” symbol facing the
operation panel.
Carefully remove the filter from
the holes (2) in the main unit
Install the filter with the
“
FRONT SIDE”
facing the air intake grille.
