To adjust the DAC to obtain the desired Tx power level.
1. Check "
Advanced options
".
2. Select the required "
Band
"
3. Input the Tx ARFCN (See "
Tx Power Calibration Channels
" at the end of this section for the input channel). and press
Enter Key.
Note:
If the PCS band is being calibrated, the "
1900 Band
" box must first be checked.
4. Select "
Power level
" (See "
Default dac value table
" at the end of this section for the dac value)
5. Click "
Get values
" and then click "
Set values
".
The default ramping value for the selected band and Power level will displayed in the 16th section of Power Ramp Editor.
6. Under the "
RF Mode
" heading, check the "
TX
" . The handset will transmit, and the power meter will displayed the default Tx
power output.
7. Input an appropriate value for "
DAC16
", and Check that the power mater registers a change in power level.
Note:
Before setting a new DAC16 value, turn off the transmitter by clicking RF Mode "
Off
".
