Using the Software
Running B’s Recorder/B’s CLiP
B’s Recorder
You can run B’s Recorder using either of the following procedures.
Double-click
(B’s Recorder main window) /
(launcher window) on the
desktop.
Windows XP
Select [start] - [All Programs] - [B.H.A] - [B’s Recorder GOLD8 BASIC] - [B’s
Recorder GOLD8] (B’s Recorder main window) / [TaskGate] (launcher window).
Windows 2000
Select [Start] - [Programs] - [B.H.A] - [B’s Recorder GOLD8 BASIC] - [B’s Re-
corder GOLD8] (B’s Recorder main window) / [TaskGate] (launcher window).
B’s CLiP
You can use B’s CLiP when
or
is displayed on the taskbar.
: No disc is inserted or the inserted disc is not formatted using B’s CLiP.
: The inserted disc has been formatted using B’s CLiP.
: The drive is not connected.

Log on to Windows as an administrator.

Set DVD Drive Utility Disc in the drive. (
page 14 “Installing DVD-RAM Driver” step

Select [B’s Recorder Gold/B’s CLiP Setup].

Select [B’s Recorder GOLD8 BASIC] and follow the on-screen instructions.
During the course of the installation process, you will be asked to input a serial number.
Input the serial number (B’s Recorder GOLD8:
).

Upon completion of the installation, select [Yes, I want to restart my computer now],
then select [Finish].
The computer will restart automatically.

Log on to Windows as an administrator.

Input [x:\setuputil.exe]*

in [start] - [Run] and select [OK].
[Utility Setup tool] screen will appear.
Windows 2000
Input [x:\setuputil.exe]*

in [Start] - [Run] and select [OK]. At the message, select [OK].
[Utility Setup tool] screen will appear.

“x” is the drive letter. You can change the letter to suit your preference.

Select [B’s Recorder Gold/B’s CLiP Setup].

Select [B’s CLiP6] and follow the on-screen instructions.
During the course of the installation process, you will be asked to input a serial number.
Input the serial number (B’s CLiP6:
