Setting the functions when the unit is linked with the switcher
The following tally-related settings can be established using
the menu.
 
Enabling/disabling the tally information instructions
sent over the network
If only the tally information from GPI is to be enabled,
from the [SETUP] menu select [SW LINK], set [TALLY_IP]
to Off, and disable the tally information instructions sent
over the network.
 
Enabling/disabling the tally ON instructions sent to
the remote cameras
From the [CAMERA] menu, select [TALLY] and display
[TALLY OUT]. Then set enable or disable for the tally ON
instructions to be sent to the remote cameras in response
to the tally requests from the GPI and over the network.
Setting the control application of PAN/TILT lever and
ZOOM button
Set the control application of the unit’s PAN/TILT lever and
ZOOM button.
From the [SETUP] menu, select [SW LINK] and display
[P/T LEVER]. Then set Self, SW or Button Select.

When the “Self” is selected:
The unit’s PAN/TILT lever and ZOOM button can be used to
control the remote cameras.
PAN/TILT lever: Remote camera panning and tilting
ZOOM button: Remote camera zooming
 
Holding down the PT ACTIVE button at this setting
switches the PAN/TILT lever operations between
“enabled” (the PT ACTIVE button indicator lights) and
“disabled” (the PT ACTIVE button goes off).
(The ZOOM button operations are enabled.)
When the “SW” is selected:
The following information can be sent to the switcher.
PAN/TILT lever: X, Y
ZOOM button: Size
 
Holding down the PT ACTIVE button at this setting
switches the PAN/TILT lever operations between
“enabled” (the PT ACTIVE button indicator blinking) and
“disabled” (the PT ACTIVE button goes off).
(The ZOOM button operations are disabled.)
When the “Button Select” is selected:
Switching between the “Self” and “SW” settings can be
accomplished using the PT ACTIVE button.
Each time the PT ACTIVE button is held down, the lighting
status of the PT ACTIVE button indicator changes, and the
control application of PAN/TILT lever and ZOOM button is
switched.
Indicator lights: “Self”

Indicator blinking: “SW”

Indicator goes off:
PAN/TILT lever operations disabled
(The ZOOM button operations are enabled for
remote camera zooming.)
