Regarding the Power Source

DC IN connector [12V IN ]
Connect the AC adaptor supplied with the unit to this connector to supply the DC 12V to the unit.

This product is intended to be supplied by a UL Listed Power Adapter or DC power source marked
"L.P.S." (or "Limited Power Source"), rated 12V DC, 1.3A minimum (supplied by a power adapter),
or 42.5-57V DC, 0.4A minimum (supplied by PoE), Tma =40 degree C minimum. Please contact
your local retailer for more information. It is absolutely essential to only use the dedicated AC
adaptor and power cable provided with the unit.

If the AC adaptor and a PoE+ power supply are connected simultaneously, the AC adaptor will have
priority.
Ceiling Mount Installation

Do not use any screws other than those supplied with the unit (do not use wood screws, nails, etc.).

Make sure the camera is firmly mounted to the ceiling, with no tilting or wobbling.

Check the mounting space.
Refer to the illustration below, and determine where the unit is to be installed and in which direction
it should be mounted. In a case like this, the 4 holes (ø 4.5 mm) for installing the mount bracket for
installation surface on the ceiling must be drilled in the ceiling panel. Unit: mm

Note

Make connections for each cable within the ceiling beforehand, and pass the cables through a
cable-routing hole in preparation for making connections for and installing the unit.

For a power outlet which is used on the ceiling, be absolutely sure to take measures to deal with
the tracking that may be caused by the accumulation of dust and other foreign matter.
