Chapter 7 Menu description tables

For selecting the method used to inform the
user that the unit is recording when a system
using an extender or other device is
configured and BOTH is selected as the 26-
PIN CONTROL menu item setting while the
system is used in the remote control mode.
RED:
The red tally lamp lights.
GREEN:
The green tally lamp lights.
CHAR:
The letters “REC” appear on the
viewfinder.

Operation proceeds with 16:9 or 4:3

For selecting the mode in which to record the
signals on the VTR.
16:9/50M:
<16:9> signals are recorded at 50
Mbps.

4:3/24M:
<4:3> signals are recorded at 25
Mbps.

For setting whether or not to add the error
detection flags to the SDI output.

For selecting whether or not to hold the UMID
GPS position information while the power is
off and record the information as the data still
held as the previous value until another
measurement can be taken after the power is
next turned on.
HOLD:
The data is held and recorded.
CLEAR:
The data is cleared at the same time
as the power is turned off, and all
zeros (no information) are recorded
from the time the power is turned on
until the measurement is next taken.
COMPONENT OUT

OFF
For selecting whether or not component
output from pins 26 and 68 continue during
power save status.
ON:
Output continues.
OFF:
Output stops during power save. (Note
that this setting is forced ON if a
camera adapter is connected and a
tally signal is detected from pin 26.
Otherwise it is OFF.)
26PIN CONTROL
OFF
BOTH
For setting the 26-pin control mode.
OFF:
Only the unit is controlled. (No 26-pin
control).
BOTH:
Control over both the unit and 26-pin
connector is exercised. The tally LED
indicates the status of the 26-pin tally
signal. (The unit’s recording can be
set using the REC TALLY item on the
SYSTEM MODE menu.)
SDI METADATA
ON

For setting whether or not to output the
metadata to SDI.
SDI EMBEDDED
AUDIO
ON
OFF
For setting whether or not to output the audio
signals to SDI.

is selected.
INTRLCE:
Line mixing is used to produce
more natural images.
PROG.:
No line mixing is used, allowing
true 25P images to be obtained
when editing following shooting.
<Note>
If PROG. is selected the images produced are
25P segment frame images, so true 25P
editing is possible. However, adding vertical
detail (V.DTL) will cause the images to appear
less natural. It is therefore recommended that
V.DTL be set to 0. (The images will retain
sufficient vertical response after 25P editing
even if V.DTL is set to 0.)
