– Placing the unit in an upright position –

With the use of the provided stand, the main unit can be placed in an upright position as shown
in the following diagram.
The left side should be at the bottom.

Stand

Notes

• To place the VTR in an upright position, please use the provided stand.

If the stand is not used, the unit may topple and result in injuries or breakdown.

• Please place the unit on a leveled place.
• When inserting the cassette, do not remove your hand until the cassette is being drawn into the unit.

Particularly, when a mini DV cassette is used, removing your hand too early may cause the
cassette to drop and get damaged.
