If the answer for all of the questions opposite
is “yes”, then perform a validation check of
the meter using the PalmDoc control solution.
If the control solution test result is within the
acceptable range, review the testing procedure
and repeat your blood glucose test with a new
test strip. If the test value is still inconsistent
with your previous results or glucose
trend, contact your healthcare professional
immediately.

Comparing with laboratory results

The results you obtain from your meter may
differ somewhat from your laboratory tests
due to different factors and conditions.
Meter results can be affected by factors and
conditions that do not affect laboratory tests in
the same way. To make an accurate comparison
between meter and laboratory tests, follow the
guidelines listed below:
