8. At the end of the forward movement, before the movement has fi nished, raise the sanding
drum from the fl oor again by pulling the gentle lifting lever (2).
9. Every forward movement is followed by a backward movement. The backward movement
covers the same path as the forward movement. For each forward movement, move the
machine about 10 cm to the right of the sanding path you have just fi nished.
Caution!
Never allow the machine to come to a standstill for even a short moment while sanding
because this would cause an indentation in the fl oor. This means that whenever
changing between a forward and a backward movement, the sanding drum must be
raised from the fl oor while the machine is still moving evenly, and only lowered when
the machine is moving evenly again.
