1)
Fill half the tank with water and run the pump until clear water comes out
at the nozzle end.
2)
Flush the system with a chemical neutralizing agent.
NOTE: Follow the chemical manufacturers disposal instructions on
washing or rinsing water and chemicals.
3)
If you are not using it for a long period of time remove nozzle tips and filter.
- wash nozzle tips with water or cleaning solution.
- blow out orifice.
- clean and dry.
NOTE: If orifice remains clogged, clean it with a fine bristle brush. Never blow
through by mouth or poke with wire or pins or you will damage the orifice.
- water rinse and dry tips before storing.
4)
The sprayer should be winterized before storage by pumping a 50-50 solution of
water and anti-freeze through the entire plumbing. Proper care and maintenance
will prolong the life of the sprayer.
5)
The sprayer should not be stored outside, the pump could get damaged from rain.
