3. OPERATIONAL CAPABILITIES
3.1
Each shelf can support four subscriber carrier systems; each system requires one line unit and one
channel unit. Each shelf can contain up to four line units (one per system), 12 channel units (three
per system) and one alarm unit or PGTC Interface unit (common to all systems).
