•Scan channels: scan (scanning channels by frequency
mode).
•Modify channel information: When selected, the channel
editor box will appear.
•Sort Channel order: SORT. When selected, it will select to
play stored channel programs.
Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select Scan
Channel, and press the SELECT button to start
scanning. When the system detects a channel in
scanning, it will assign a channel number for it and save
the channel. To receive a TV program in the monitoring status, just enter the corresponding channel
number. (The scanning process may take several minutes.)
If you want to edit channels for the received TV programs, use the Up/Down arrow buttons and the
SELECT button to select the Modify Channel Information item, in the pop up channel edit dialog box, use
the Up/Down arrow buttons and the SELECT button to select and confirm. The steps of channel edit are as
follows.
•
Name: P003/CH031. You can change the name using the SELECT button and the Up/Down arrow
buttons. Press the Left or Right arrow buttons to move the cursor.
•
Scan Mode: Frequency, Channel and S-Band. Use the Up/Down arrow buttons to select this item. Then
you can change the scan mode during the scanning. Frequency: scanning by frequency in a manual scan;
Channel: scanning by uniformly allocated channel name in a manual scan; S-Band: scanning by channel
name in a manual scan within the S-Band.
•
Frequency: 551.3 MHz. When the Scan Mode is Frequency, this item will be shown as the frequency.
Press the Left or Right arrow buttons to scan channels manually by frequency. Channel: CH006. When
the Scan Mode is Channel, this item will be shown as the channel. Press the Left or Right arrow buttons
to scan channels manually by channel. S-Band: S-Ch001. When the Scan Mode is S-Band, this item will
be shown as the S-Band. Press the Left or Right arrow buttons to scan channels manually by S-Band.
•
Sound Mode: PAL B/G, PAL-D/K, PAL-I, SECAM L, SECAM B/G, and SECAM D/K. Use the Left or
Right arrow and SELECT buttons to select the proper local sound mode.
•
Nicam: ON/OFF. For some channels that contain Nicam sound, switch it ON or OFF here. Use the Left
or Right arrow and SELECT buttons to operate.
