Chapter 3

Removing the TouchPad Bracket

See “Removing the Upper Cover” on page 70.

Release the FFC locking latch and disconnect the TouchPad FFC from the cover.

Remove the single screw securing the TouchPad Bracket to the Upper Cover.

Hold down the left side of the bracket as shown. Lift and pivot the right edge in the direction of the arrow to
release the locking latches on the front edge.

Remove the bracket from the Upper Cover.
