Problem
Motor stops running
Possible Cause Solution
1. No power (burned power cord) or burned fuse 1. Replace the PC board
Motor speed slows
down automatically
1. Distorted capacitor or low power 1. Replace capacitor
1. Short circuit on the motor 1. Replace motor
Inverted fan blades
Motor doesn’t regulate
speed
1. Capacitor over-burned 1. Replace capacitor
2. Electrical wiring is off 2. Fix the electrical wires
Motor runs on and off
2. Motor temperature regulator comes on and off 3. Change the motor electrical wiring
and de-activate the temperature
regulator.
