8)  Remove the surround securing fl anges from the fi replace 

(Fig.13) and relocate to the pre-assembled surround.

9)  Slide the securing fl ange up so that the fastening screws 

are at the top of the slots in the surround. (Fig.14 & 15)

7)  Remove wing screws on each side of the Bay top and  set 

Bay top aside to prevent damage. (Fig. #12).

“Wing” Screw

10) Slide the pre-assembled surround behind the ash lip. 

Ensure that the electric supply cord is located in the slots 
in the base of the surround.

11) Once the surround is fastened to the insert, in order to 

maximize heated air discharge efficiency, the surround can 
be pulled upward so that the fastening screws are at the 
lowest end of the surround securing fl ange slots.

 (Fig.16)

12) Push the entire appliance back until the surround assembly 

is in contact with the fi replace structure.

13) Replace the front panels ensuring that the tabs (Fig.17) 

on the lower edge of the panels are located into the slots 
in the ashlip, secure with screws (Fig.11).

14) Position the decorative bay top onto the fi rebox top.  Align 

and refasten the wing screws.
