CAUTION
Do not direct high pressure water onto
seals or flexible hoses. Water may en-
ter the part which will contaminate the
system lubricants and fluids. To pre-
vent damage to these components,
keep a gentle flow of water moving at
all times. Failure to comply may result
in equipment damage.
Daily or Refueling Maintenance
Checks
Visual Inspection of Engine
This procedure should be followed as part
of daily and refueling maintenance checks.
1.
Check for any signs of fluid leaks.
2.
Ensure all access caps/covers are
installed and tight.
3.
Excessive oil, coolant or fuel
consumption
4.
Loose or damaged parts
5.
Worn or damaged belts
6.
Worn or damaged wiring harnesses
7.
Any change in system appearance
8.
Odor of fuel
9.
Odor of electronic devices.
10. When operating the engine, listen
for any unusual system noises
which can indicate service is
required.

Cooling Fan
This procedure should be followed as part
of daily and refueling maintenance checks.
1.
Inspect for cracks.
2.
Inspect for clearance to other
components.
Coolant Level
Replacement or top up coolant should
have the same antifreeze concentration
and corrosion inhibitor content as the
original coolant in the cooling system. If
operating in sub-freezing conditions, a
60/40 mix of antifreeze and distilled water
may be substituted.
Always dilute antifreeze to the correct
concentration based on freeze protection
before adding it to the cooling system.
