Cleaning the engine and silencer
To reduce the risk of fire, the cooling fins should be cleaned with compressed air and
the area around the silencer should be cleaned of sawdust, branches, leaves or other
debris.
Recoil starter
If the starter cable is found to be worn, it must be replaced.
Nuts and bolts
Regularly check that all nuts and bolts are properly tightened and that the handles are
firmly attached.
Spark plug
-
The spark plug should be regularly removed and cleaned
with a metal brush to remove dirt and deposits.
-
Check and adjust the spark plug gap if necessary.
-
Use the supplied spark plug wrench to screw in the spark
plug.
-
The spark plug should always be replaced with one of the
same type when the electrodes are burnt or the insulation
is worn and always after 100 hours of operation.
