Storing the Water Blaster
When the water blaster is not being used or is being stored for a extended
period of time follow these instructions:
1. Replenish engine oil to upper level.
2. Drain fuel from fuel tank, fuel line, fuel valve and carburetor.
3. Pour about one teaspoon of engine oil through the spark plug hole. Pull
the recoil starter slowly until you feel increased pressure which indicates
the piston is on its compression stroke. Leave it in this position. This
closes both the intake and exhaust valves to prevent the inside of the
cylinder from rusting.
4. Remove breather and refit hex bolt.
5. Cover the pressure washer and store in a clean, dry place that is well
ventilated and away from open flame or sparks.
Changing the Oil
The water blaster is shipped without oil.
Before starting ensure an oil
inspection is conducted.
After the first 20 hours of use the engine oil must be replaced, and then
every 50 hours after that.
Always use high quality oils, choosing their viscosity grade according to
the operating temperatures.
Note:
It is recommended that SAE 10W-30 (multi viscosity) oils are used
at temperatures from 5 to 35ºC.
1. Place the water blaster on a level surface.
2. Clean around the oil fill plug.
3. Remove the oil fill plug from the engine.
4. Fill the engine with SAE 10W-30 oil up to the maximum level.
5. Replace oil fil plug.
Replacing the Air Filter
1. Release the two clips securing the filter cover.
2. Remove and inspect the filter. It must be intact
and clean, if not clean or replace the filter.
3. Replace the filter and filter cover.
Removing, installing and inspecting the spark plug
1. Remove the spark plug lead.
2. Remove the spark plug using the spanner
supplied.
3. Clean the electrode with a metal brush and
remove any carbon build-up.
4. Using a thickness gauge, check the spark plug
for the correct gap (
0.7 ~ 0.8mm
) between the
center electrode and side electrode.
5. Refit the spark plug and tighten.
Spark plug types:
LG F7RTC or equivalent.
Cleaning the Water Blaster
Use a moist cloth to wipe down the water blaster. Allow to dry thoroughly
before storing in a dry location that is protected from bad weather
conditions.
Cleaning the Nozzle
1. Shut off the pressure washer and turn off the water supply.
2. Pull trigger on the gun handle to relieve any pressure.
3. Disconnect the lance from the gun.
4. Remove any obstructions with the cleaning needle provided and back
flush with clean water.
5. Direct a water supply into the end of the lance for 30 seconds to
back flush loosened particles.
6. Reconnect the lance to the gun.
