4. Then remove the outer blade flange (17) (Fig. 18).
5. Carefully remove the blade (20) from the saw
(Fig. 19).
6. Ensure blade flanges and blade bolt (19) are
clean of sawdust, grease, etc.
7. Carefully insert the new blade (20) through the
slot in the baseplate (15) and mount it against
the inner blade flange (17) on the shaft (Fig. 20).
Make sure the large diameter of the blade
flanges lay flush against the blade (20). Ensure
the saw teeth and arrow on the blade (20) point
in the same direction as the arrow on the upper
blade guard (5).
8. While the lower blade guard (16) is retracted, check operation and condition of
the lower guard spring.
9. To fit the outer blade flange (17). First tighten the blade bolt (19) finger tight.
Depress the spindle lock button (3). Whilst depressing the spindle lock button
(3), tighten the blade bolt (19) firmly with the allen key (26).
7. Before connecting the saw to a power source, ensure that:
• the spindle lock button (3) is released
• the blade (20) rotates freely
• the lower blade guard (16) moves freely without binding.
WARNING!
Always ensure the saw is switched off and the plug is
removed before performing any adjustments or maintenance procedures.
