Starting Up The Compressor
For best practice, the compressor should be run without any load
for 20 minutes before first use to lubricate the bearings and piston.
This procedure should also be performed if the compressor has been
stored for 6 months or more without operation.
1. Disconnect all air hoses from
the outlets and open the drain
valve to prevent pressurised
air buildup in the tank.
2. Make sure the power switch
is in the off position. Plug
the power supply cord into a
mains outlet and turn the unit
on.
3. Allow the compressor to run for 20 minutes without any loads
attached.
4. Turn off the compressor, drain
any liquid from the tank and
close the drain valve. The
compressor is now ready for
use.
5. Attach the desired tool to one end of an air hose and the air hose to
an outlet depending on the tool or application.
6. Turn the compressor back
on and adjust the regulated
pressure to the desired level
once the pump has shut off
and the compressor has
reached cut-off pressure
(8bar).
Checking The Safety Relief Valve
WARNING!
WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND EAR
PROTECTION. KEEP YOUR FACE AWAY FROM THE
SAFETY VALVE WHEN CARRYING OUT THIS CHECK.
AIR WILL BE DISCHARGED AT HIGH PRESSURE.
DO NOT USE THE COMPRESSOR IF THE SAFETY
VALVE DOES NOT WORK AS DESCRIBED.
The safety relief valve has been set for the highest permitted pressure
of the tank. It is prohibited to adjust the safety relief valve or to
remove its seal.
Check that the safety relief valve is in working
order before every use.
1. Turn the compressor on and leave it to run until the switch off
pressure (8bar) is reached.
2. Hold the ring on the safety
relief valve and pull it
outwards. Air should discharge
from the valve.
3. When the ring on the safety relief valve is released, the air
discharge should stop.
Adjusting The Output Pressure
The output pressure of the regulated pressure outlet can be adjusted
to suit the air tool connected and the task at hand.
1. To do so, first decrease the
pressure to 0psi by turning
the pressure regulator anti-
clockwise.
2. Then turn the pressure
regulator clockwise until the
desired pressure is shown on
the regulated pressure gauge.

WARNING!
BEFORE CONNECTING THE
COMPRESSOR TO THE POWER SOURCE, CHECK
FOR BROKEN COMPONENTS AND ACCESSORIES.
ALSO CHECK FOR DAMAGE TO THE HOSE. DO NOT
PROCEED IF ANY COMPONENT OR PART SHOWS
SIGN OF WEAR OR DAMAGE. REPLACE THE PART
OR TAKE IT TO AN AUTHORISED REPAIRER.
